Policy work

I lead the finance team at Giro Zero, a project that aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the Colombian Road Freight Sector. Giro Zero is a joint project by Universidad de los Andes and Cardiff University that has been funded by UK Pact. 

Since 2021, the Giro Zero team has worked with public institutions, private companies, business associations, and independent companies to design and implement strategies to reduce emissions. For example, we have designed and implemented pilots for new technologies, trained drivers, provided technical assistance to companies, and published public policy briefs.
